Frequently asked questions
Using the tool
What images work best?
Well-lit photos or renders of a single object with clear depth cues. Avoid flat 2D artwork, logos, text, and photos of people — these don't reconstruct well.
How long does one model take?
About 3–4 minutes end to end, including engine startup. Your job keeps running if you close the page; results appear in your dashboard.
What's the difference between Standard and HD?
Standard bakes 2K textures (1 credit) — ideal for games and web. HD bakes 4K textures (2 credits) for close-up rendering and maximum detail. Geometry is identical.
Output & usage
What file format do I get?
A meshopt-compressed GLB with PBR textures (base color, metallic, roughness). It imports directly into Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot, and most 3D tools.
Can I use the models commercially?
Yes. Models generated from images you own or have rights to are yours, including for commercial projects.
Is the mesh 3D-printable?
The mesh is watertight and a solid starting point for printing — convert GLB to STL in your slicer or Blender, and check wall thickness before printing.
Billing
How does pricing work?
Pay as you go: buy a credit pack once, spend 1 credit per standard model or 2 per HD model. New accounts get free trial credits.
What happens if my generation fails?
Credits for failed jobs are refunded automatically. If you hit repeated failures, email us and we'll help.
